Evil Genius EP Choose a price $ The Evil Genius EP began in 2009 as a DIY demo. The songs, composed and arranged by Tom Dowd, were initially recorded in a loft space in Allston with Brad Will engineering. Eventually the vocals, keyboards and some of the guitars were recorded in studio with Geoff Nielsen, who mixed and mastered the final product. It was self-released in a very half-assed way. Several fine musicians played on this album: Tom Dowd – guitar/vocals, Greg Albert – upright and electric bass, Devin Collins – drums, Sam Owens – tenor sax, Alec Pombriant – alto sax, Ryan Dragonn – trombone, Tiziano Bianchi – trumpet, Jordan Siegel – keyboards. 	Absence of Time [6:25] lyrics I wrote this song about a cat at a nursing home named Oscar that could sense when a patient was near death. Normally he avoided people, but when he went into a patient’s room the nursing home would call in the family.
