ROXY/ELSEWHERE COVER VIDEO SERIES STARTS NOW!

Village of the Sun, the first part of our 3 part tribute to Frank Zappa and his masterwork Roxy & Elsewhere is now live on YouTube! This is our most recent collaboration with videographer Frank Hegyi. In the coming weeks we'll be releasing our versions of Echidna's Arf (of You) and Don't You Ever Wash That Thing? We have been polishing this 16+ minute suite live since the fall and after an intense day of recording and 3 months of editing we're unleashing it on the world. More to come FZ fans....

WINTER 2014

Hellooooo there SC friends and family. Been a while since we dropped you a line! The band had a great summer/fall playing our busiest schedule yet. This October marks 2 years since the current live band started playing and it's been a blast to say the least. We'll be keeping the ball rolling this winter with a lighter schedule of shows and more videos/studio recordings on the docket.
SEE US LIVE

First up, we return to Worcester this Friday (11/15) with The Jauntee at the brand new hookah bar/venue Electric Haze! We haven't hit central Mass since our appearance at Camp Coldbrook in the early summer so this should be a fun one.

Our final NYC hit of 2013 comes late night on Thursday, 11/21 at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 with The Karma Exchange. This is our first appearance at one of Manhattan's most popular venues. We'll be breaking out a massive new Zappa cover suite at this one, don't miss it!

We will kick off December with a two-date residency at Church of Boston presented by Secret Sessions Boston. We play 12/3 with Mister F and 12/10 with Swift Technique. These are both awesome live acts and we're pumped to be a part of this long-running series.

Late winter will see us return to Great Barrington with a two band bill at The Brickhouse in Housatonic, followed by sets at Church and The Spotlight Tavern on Valentine's Day.

For those hungering for new SC recordings, we are frequently updating the Free Live Sets page on our website. Most recently we posted our 6/28 set at the Beachland Tavern in Cleveland. You can also find audio from our Wormtown Music Festival set on 9/15 at Archive.org. We're constantly adding new material to the sets, both covers and originals, so stay tuned for fresh SC material!

We're also excited to announce we are beginning to plan our next recording project for 2014. Keep an eye out next spring!

SUMMER 2013

ALLLLLRIGHT folks after a long and crazy month of shows at Precinct we are gearing up for a great run of dates this summer! For those of you who missed THE PRECINCT SESSIONS, we will have some live video and audio in the not-too-distant future.... We'd like to thank Precinct for hosting us and all the bands and fans who showed up, hope you had as much fun as we did!

No time to waste though, because we've got lots more shows to get to this summer. This Saturday we'll be making our second trip to Brooklyn to play Trash Bar as part of the Northside Festival (10pm on 6/15). Make sure you show up early and catch our friends The Karma Exchange at 9. We are beyond excited to announce our FESTIVAL DEBUT at Camp Coldbrook on 6/21, we'll be starting the fest off right with a 1pm set on the main stage! Tickets are still available, so email or call today to pick them up! Other dates this summer will take us to Providence, Cleveland, Beverly, NYC, and Martha's Vineyard, so check our CALENDAR for updates and get weird this summer.

GET TO PRECINCT TONIGHT

Our big ol' clusterfuck of a 9 piece band has been working towards tonight's show since January when we first started reading down my arrangement of The Dillinger Escape Plan's Baby's First Coffin. Can't wait to show our fans the results. If ever a band earned your sacrifices (the ten bucks, the lack of sleep, the hangover you're gonna nurse at work tomorrow), it's this band, this stage, tonight at 11 PM at Precinct. It will go down as one of the proudest days of our young careers, and we want you to be there for it. For those that talk a big game about supporting local, independent music, for those that bitch and moan that no one bothers to learn their instruments anymore, we got somethin' for ya. It ain't about the money for this group. Tonight, it's about playing art music at the highest level. BE THERE.
